Hot on the heels of our recent success on the Californian Almonds brief, Clemenger Sydney approached EA to create a print & motion piece for Tim Tam Chocolicious. We needed to create a beautiful sculptural image that had taste appeal & readability over all else. The actual product is really quite tiny so we had to recreate the ingredients at a larger scale using CGI & photographic textures. Stephen Stewart did a great job shooting the biscuit & cream textures which we combined with detailed CGI sculptures in retouching. Chocolate & confectionary images require hyper-realistic shaders & lighting to bring out the very best in the product. We worked on the animation components simultaneously, focusing on an ultra slow-mo style to highlight the velvety richness of the chocolate.
