The design & thought process that goes into the pre-engineering of a Sekisui House has to be seen to be believed. When Frost* Design commissioned EA for the initial stills brief we were invited on a site visit & were impressed at just how accurate & beautifully designed the system was. This needed to be reflected in the illustration of the timber joint & as a result every piece of wood, bolt & pin has been truly modelled to within the submillimetre with carefully accurate shaders applied. We experimented with various levels of deconstruction & composition & explored a number of lighting scenarios before arriving at this carefully thought out piece.
The stills was so well recieved that Sekisui engaged EA to create a corresponding animation piece. The final result describes the values of the fascinating brand that is SekIsui House. Beautiful, precise materials tied together by dramatic atmosphere & lighting.
