The guys at Ward 6 handed us this beautiful brief & had a very good idea of what they wanted to achieve visually. They were after two images, they needed to resemble realistic & intricately hand made paper models. The visuals required contrasting moods, happy & sad, to reflect possible outcomes for sufferers of endometriosis.

The first step involved creating the girl & paper cut outs entirely in CGI, these determined our lighting conditions & we shot the book & table to match & blended them together in retouching.  One of the greatest challenges lay in preparing the visuals to work in three different languages. We found a system of modelling realistic paper models where the text could be changed to suit the relevant language.
