California Almonds

Awesome Portland based photographer Adam Levey approached EA to help him bring this energetic campaign for California Almonds to life. The first challenge involved us working up a rough comp to perfect the composition of the splash. This “perfect splash” was created by drawing initial sketch designs & then comping various agency supplied mood board references with material from our EA image library to form the basis for the shape of the CGI sculpt. EA reinterpreted this rough into 3D space via sculpting. Shaders & lighting were developed to enhance the beauty & the taste appeal of this frozen moment. Adam shot the photographic almonds & each element was comped & finessed in retouching. Amazing team effort!
